Some of us are holding back because we don't see much in the way of 64 bit progress. My Online Armor is even still at the 32 bit release stage though 64 bit is promised to be released in the near future...

Question about the Free product--

(I didn't want to start a new thread so hope this will be allowed in this one)

When I started in Safe Mode and tried to launch a scan I was told my pc was not operating correctly and hopped back into normal mode where the scan can start. Is this normal?

 

Does the free version auto update definitions? Yes I know it scans when idle but is the option to schedule there?

 

If you mean the Cloud Antivirus , no update button and function . It is in-the-cloud scanner in real time.

 

@sportsfan7700, yes, this is normal.

@The Hammer, it does synchronize its cached definitions about once a day against Collective Intelligence (for offline operation and other stuff), but there's no button or schedule for it as it is done automatically in the background.

 

@pbust: Was there a new build released recently ?
There are a few issues pending. (ref. posts #650 and #661)
Are you still at build 1.01.02 ?

Hint: it'd be nice if you were showing the current release number somewhere on your webpage.

I think the web team is looking at putting the current version on the main page soon.

 

Yes Ibrad is correct, we will put it there again.

Also the next build will have many fixes as reported by wilders and PCAV forum users (such as unified Recycle Bin, instant notifications, etc.)

Ok, I am interested in trying the pro version. Should be able to get it in a week or so, finances are a bit rough here atm.

I reformatted my laptop computer and I can't get my Pro license to work now. It said: 'This code has already been used to protect another computer'. What should I do? I have been to the user area and I don't see an option to reset my license key. I posted it in the VIP forum and I have the same user name. Quite a few hurdles and different Panda websites to find account information!

 

1- Go to www.cloudantivirus.com.
2- Login or create an account to login (upper right "my account").
3- Once logged in enter the license at the bottom of the page.
4- Once the license is entered, choose "Release license".
5- You can now use the license again on the same computer or different computer.

Just for those who in the past were experiencing FP's and were wondering if Panda does really restore it I can confirm that they do automatically get restored.

 

So when will we see the new release which fixes all the major bugs with quarantine-system (at the moment, PCA is impossible to run due to these severe bugs)? The progress seems to go awfully slow with the work of the new version.

 

I can not share a date but many bugs that Wilders members reported shall be fixed. Also a few of the requests will be fixed/added. It will not be long if everything goes according to plan.

 

I have a question from a friend of mine who is not yet a member of Wilders. He got a license from WC giveaway. Can he use that on 2 PC with different IP at the same time?

 

I think it is 1 user per key as far as I am aware, they were looking at multi-pc keys but noting has been released about them yet.

 

I guess it will be a Christmas present - am I right pbust?
