running very well for me. I like the ability to see processes. This may be the lightest AV I have used on startup, as far as how much memory is used. Very good work Panda.:thumb: :thumb:

seeing this issue as a business man i think adding firewall on the PCA might conflict with the 2011 product line,

If version 2 of Panda cloud will not have a Firewall then I think they should make available Behavioural Process Analyzer in the Free version (Behavioural Process Analyzer is now only in Pro version). Wot say frds?

    Thanxx

    Not really.

Panda Antivirus Pro (PAV) - has a firewall
Panda Cloud Antivirus PRO (PCAV) - will have a firewall

yeah thats the point, PAV do have a firewall and so as PCAV, so if i was the costumer i would buy the cloud rather than the slight laggy PAV. thus dropping the sales of the first suite(PAV) you follow ?

It won't bother sales that much, as there is only a $10 difference. :)

    Panda Antivirus Pro (1yr) - $39.99
    Panda Cloud Antivirus PRO (1yr) - $29.99

so whats the point of selling the PAV when the cloud is much cheaper and effective as the first

PAV not only has a firewall, but more features than Panda Cloud and provides better offline protection than PCAV does.

PAV has signatures (off & online protection), cloud, full-featured behavioral protection, USB vaccination, antiphishing, IM protection, and Secure Browsing. All for only $10 more.

And you can find discounts for both products. ;)

Very well designed interface during the installation, looking forward to any changes in the main GUI if any and will report any eventual issues here.

In version 1.5 (currently in closed beta) we've added the ability to close the banners.

Oh no. avast! and AVG encouraged Panda Cloud with the 'like' button. The GUI has been ruined... *sniff* :(

Exactly, get the I like button out of there. Really bad move IMO. :thumbd:

Its just that I think Panda Cloud's GUI was not designed for all these extras such as the support banner and 'like' button (IMO). Maybe beside the '?' button, Panda could place a small :thumb: icon there. I don't know.

As for the support banner, its too big and does not fit well with the GUI's design. And instead of it appearing from within the GUI, it could appear outside it. Like the upgrade ad in AVG Free.

I think the "I like" button doesn't belong in the GUI at all.
Like we should push that button every time we open the GUI :ouch:

    I like, I like, No today I don't like it. I like, I like.......;)

We figure it will help us get the word out for other people to get to know Panda Cloud Antivirus.

I understand why. Perhaps I just have bad taste ;)

But if you would like to get the word out as you say, then you should have added this button in version 1.0 when there was less users than today IMO.

Perhaps put another "Like" or "Dislike" button next to the main "Like" button, to indicate whether you "Like" the "Like" button! o_O :D
    [Sorry, I couldn't resist!]

As many know I really like Panda Cloud (I got a license but haven't got it currently installed, due to extremely slow scan speeds and lack of granular controls) but that GUI in 1.5 is so damn ugly. A combination of many things which don't fit together, a child of 3 would draw a better GUI. Panda obviously got some good developers, but the designers aren't. I just hope that the other improvements in 1.5 like more advanced options and hopefully fixing the extremely slow on-demand scan for me and some more users "balance out" for the awful GUI.
