Why go through all that when you could install only the toolbar? :)

I already have 1.5.1 with URL filtering and now I want 1.5.2 and explained why I'd rather wait for the auto-update ;)

    Thanks for the welcome :D
But no one answered my question if there is a version of Panda Cloud compatible with Win 8 CP.
I'm in love with Win 8 and Panda Cloud... and for the moment it seems that they don't work together :'(

    Ur welcome :D
and even though dark lord answered your question i would still not use any antivirus on win 8 cp right now
windows defender aka MSE is more polished antivirus for win 8 than any other antivirus right now

Yes, 1.5.2 does not provide much compatibility with Win 8 CP, but an upcoming release will make them friends. :)

Thank you and Dark Lord and The_ChamP for your replies.
The main reason I ask this is that MSE and Defender can have some problems with updates.
You can manually or by a task update their definitions multiple times a day, but it doesn't work automatically.
So I like the concept of being connected to the cloud and not be worried about updates.
Looking forward to the new release of Panda Cloud Antivirus.

Like @Cloud said, there's an upcoming release that will add compatibility with Win8. Probably this coming week.

Just auto-updated to 1.5.2 here, quick scans seems a lot faster.

Running very smooth on my laptop here and the scan times seem a good 40-50% faster. Curious to see how it runs for you and others...:)

For me the initial Optimized scan after the upgrade wasn't any faster. Were you referring to a full scan of the computer?

The scan time improvements should be noticeable especially in Vista and Windows 7 machines.

Then you should be seeing a huge improvement. If you can test them both, please try to time them (1.5.1 vs 1.5.2) to see what kind of improvement you are seeing. Ideally time both optimized as well as full scan.

The scan logs from 1.51 are retained after the upgrade and I did compare the time of the initial 1.5.2 scan with the 1.5.1 scans and the time was the same give or take a few seconds. I haven't done a full scan with 1.5.2 yet. I"m not the least bit upset that I haven't seen a change with the initial 1.5.2 Optimized scan. I'm just stating my results. Maybe it takes more than one scan before any time savings assert themselves.
