Panda 2.0 in Download.com

I running it alongside KAV and NVT EXE Radar Quite nicely.

 

Running Kingsoft Cloud, Panda Cloud 2.0 and avast! together and it works great. Except the URL monitor only shows for avast! because it's Network Shield redirects everything through avast! process, making this feature rather useless. But this is the only downside. It's disabled by default anyway.

I also like that behavior analysis are now also enabled for free users. Can't wait to see languy99 testing it out to see how it works now.

 

Thanks for replying...I already have avira personal and couldnt pass up such a nice freebie. Seems to be running beautifully with comodo fw only and sandboxie free also.

Is there a fw with this? I dont see (or want) it.
Also...how do recent versions do in tests?

How can you run Panda and Avast! together? Neither is a companion AV.

Why not? They are both fully cloud powered.

Panda Cloud 2.0 and avast! 7 work perfectly fine together. Except the URL Monitoring fature which is disabled by default anyway and sactually still works, it just doesn't work quite as expected... that's all. I don't seem to feel any drag even on weaker AMD Fusion E-450 laptop...

 

I cant even find it in the ui, can you point it out?
Also how well do you think PC complements Avira personal?

I wouldn't recommend you doing what the polymorphic sheep is... Sure it is a cloud AV (though it is not purely cloud) but the product was designed to be your main AV.

To disable the firewall, open the interface and click the firewall tab. You'll see the button.

 

I swear on a stack of bibles there is no fw tab!

Panda URL Filter blocks Adobe Flash Player installer page.

1. Go to the Adobe Install Page http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

2. Click Download Now

3. Panda URL Filter message appears, you can check mark the box "I understand that visiting this page could infect my computer", hit continue and it still brings up the same blocked page.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

 

If you're willing to miss out on an awesome product because of a simple like button, then I guess its not worth trying out at all. Tbh, I didn't care for that button in 1.5 because it didnt fit the UI but everything was sorted out in 2.0. At present, you're going to see the like button in Avast, AVG, Panda, ZoneAlarm, and others may follow. Does the product give the user with social popups? No. Except of course, Avast and (I think) Comodo but they both have off switches.

If you're using Internet Explorer, it shows up fine. I should have mentioned that this behavior is happening in Mozilla Firefox.

 

Installed the free version here too.The 1.5 version was in a perfect harmony with my other security,CIS FW and Sandboxie.

Okay, now I am experiencing this as well. Clicking "continue" will give you the download but yes the page remains blocked if you refresh.
