The hot sink has stopped working after I instaled the blaster program. How do I get the hot sink to work?

    Hi Stan,

I assume you are talking about SpywareBlaster, is that correct?

To return your system security back to the way it was prior to the installation of SpywareBlaster, follow these steps:

In SpywareBlaster's screen, if you press "Deselect All" (1 in image) then "Remove Protection for Unchecked Items" (2), it will clear all the protections the program has set (the kill-bits and cookies blocks), and it will give you the message (3) that it has removed them. The items will all stay unchecked and red highlighted showing that all SpywareBlaster protects have been undone.

Once you've done this, try to use the PDA's hot sync function, if it works, then it must be using an ActiveX control that has been disabled by SpywareBlaster. If it doesn't work, then the problem is most likely not related to SpywareBlaster.

    Let us know what happens.
