Why does Palemoon direct its users to the Google 'agreement' when they want to use that search engine ? I can't find a way to access Google without accepting that 'privacy agreement'. Really annoying, and it seems I need a different search engine. I'm probably one of the very few people without a Google account ...
i am pretty sure you will find the answer here: http://forum.palemoon.org/index.php my thoughts - could be user agent, could be ad-blocker, could be a cookie issue. if you use google services you have to accept - could be a cookie issue. some noticed this also for firefox.
Because Pale Moon breaks the web, I stopped using it after they took their own path and are no longer basing their builds on Firefox as a Firefox fork. It is now a totally new browser but I don't like having to find a solution for many pages just to have them load properly.
palemoon uses a gecko fork (goanna), not firefox fork http://www.ghacks.net/2015/06/22/pale-moon-to-switch-from-gecko-to-goanna-rendering-engine/ the major problem is that goanna maintains XUL while mozilla is XUL abandoning with the next major versions. so there wont be a adoptable code fix for goanna available. if they cant fix it palemoon will run into trouble. next issue is that palemoon is not an official browser and returns again firefox as user-agent. http://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12348
I don't experience the issue. The search engine works as expected in mine. By the way, Pale Moon devs and Google have some misunderstandings toward each other. https://forum.palemoon.org/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=12193 That might or might not be connected to your issue.
@Fly I also can use Google search engine without any issue in Palemoon. Alternatively you could use Startpage/ixquick search engine which returns Google results.
