Thanks for the heads up as Palemoon is my 2nd browser after Firefox and use it as a backup of Fx.

PaleMoon won't be recognised by CCleaner and Sandboxie.
unfortunately that's enough for me not to use it.

Otherwise it's a wonderful alternative to Firefox.
It installs fast; the importing tool works flawlessly (bookmarks and add-ons); it's fast and stable; the developer(s) decided that they won't follow the frenzy of FF's continuous builds...

Only a couple of minor details... too bad, too bad.

You mean that Tzuk hasn't made a template for direct access to the Palemoon profile? This doesn't really make much sense as a reason not to use it.

Once you have an understanding of what the template does... it's not hard to do it yourself. Templates are just a time-saver, but Tzuk doesn't want to have to do it for every browser that exists. You can use it perfectly well in Sandboxie even without a ready template, and as another pointed out others have done the hard work for you with the templates (just adapting the FF template to fit the path of Palemoon).

And who cares about CCleaner - just use the 'clear your recent history' feature in Palemoon if hard drive space is really at a premium. Palemoon is optimised for modern hardware, so I'm not sure why regular CCleaning is quite necessary on such a machine TBH.

In the past I did discover that Palemoon in CCleaner shows up under Firefox. Just right click on some of the Firefox items when analyzing and you'll see what I mean. I've read some experts at mozillazine forum claiming that it is not recommended to clean Firefox in CCleaner as doing so can corrupt Fx. Therefore I don't use CCleaner to clean out Fx/PM any longer.

    I do.

Right you are. I'll be using it (along with CCleaner).

I wish I could find that...

EDIT You're right! When cleaning Firefox, PaleMoon will be cleaned as well.
    Thanks.

You're welcome Montmorency. :) Personally I haven't used CCleaner (unticked the Firefox boxes) for quite a while to clean Fx and PM as I prefer to do this cleaning in each individual browser at the end of each session.

I am using Waterfox on Win 7 Prof. x64. According to a few articles/tests it is the faster browser.
