Pages Loading Slowly

I recently updated the definitions for my SpywareGuard and enabled all protection. Now all my favorite websites are loading very slowly(Specifically pictures) or not at all.

After 2 days of troubleshooting (running spyware scans and virus scans) I disabled all protection from my SpywareGuard and pages are loading normally.

I am not sure how to customize my settings so these websites will load, but still be protected, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I run the currently updated versions of the following:
Windows XP Home SP2
IE 6
Avast Antivirus Home Edition
Zone Alarm Security Suite
Spyware Blaster
SpywareGuard
Spybot
Adaware SE Pro
Pest Patrol

 

This may actually be an avast issue.

You know everything seemed to update in the same time frame, so it was tough to determine the exact program causing the problem.
