Hi, DisablePagingExecutive is this the same as no page file? HKLM\system\current control set\control\session manager\memory management: disablepagingexecutive 0 > 1 <<<< With "1" is this ""no page file"" >>>>
it is not to disable paging file (this is another entry) see http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/109566-disable-pagefile-tweak-having-trouble-finding-info/ best left alone in any case
Thanks Cudni, The disablepagingexecutive 0 > 1 "I have that as "Force Windows Core to RAM" & to be used with min 1GB RAM XP & 2GB for Vista & Win7. _________________ I was not sure, if going to system > advanced settings >>> Change virtual mem. would be like 0 goes to 1 at the reg. Is the old rule still valid or passe: 1.5 X mem in MB, same value for initial & max?
