Packet blocked by active defense (IDS)

    Hello,

    We have ESET Smart Security Business Edition v3.0.684.0 installed on our Web / Mail Server.

    I am a Web Developer / Server Tech for the company and find that the IDS Blocks me on the firewall!

    I have attached a screen shot of the log file. The entries include:

    Packet blocked by active defense (IDS)
    Detected TCP Flooding attack​

    For the mean while I have turned some settings off while we debug:

    Block unsafe address after attack detection
    ICMP protocol attack detection​

    When I visit one of the Web Pages on the server I find log entrys like 'Packet blocked by active defense (IDS)' with my ip details.

    This has been causing me no end of hastle and has been stopping me from doing my job!!! It also effects some, but not all of our customers.

    Are there some special configurations for Web / Mail Server Security?

    Any ideas as what may be causing it?

    My IP Address is the one highlighted in the attached image.
