Am using it on a Sony Vaio laptop and it runs very light with no problems at all. It seems the new version has the once a day update rule lifted to allow multiple updates.

Lasted less than 2 hours on my Vista32 laptop

Even with all other security software removed, this suite slowed(painfully slow) the opening of programs and slowed my internet browsing down to the point where it didn't work anymore

I wanted to like it but just had no choice but to "boot it to the curb"

Now trying the recently updated (January 29th) Free Fortinet Security Suite and i must say it's come a long way and is "loaded" with features ;)

the AV is not so well in finding and cleaning . That's what people say here. I have had problems with FPs a lot and switched to another AV product but the firewall is excellent i think.

is it possible to only use the firewall component? does it gives option to uncheck components during installation?

Yeh I think this is an option for the pro only. I just installed Free and there is no such customization option.

I'm looking on the Agnitum support site for a feature comparison chart of the free vs the Pro suites. I can't locate it. By any chance to you have such a link?
