    Hi All,

For those that use Outpost Pro...do you recommend blocking cscript.exe or any other script programs from running? I don't want to be vulnerable to a script virus attack. How about blocking wscript.exe and even cmd.exe. What do you all think?

    Thanks in Advance,
    Toby

You could block them as long as you don't need them for legitimate use. You might want to first go into: Host Protection-> known components-> View list, and delete those three from the list if they exist, and have your Host Protection set up at least as seen in the screenshot. You could have "Monitor all application components" enabled, but then you will be assaulted by many more alerts.
