I did install OP Pro last week. Now this morning I tried to use Windows Update (which is set manually) and OP is blocking the process. I tried to close OP to verify and there was no problems.

Any idea how I can solve this problem?

    Hi john_81,

You were right, when I uncheck the box it worked. But isn't there another way of doing it? That means I have to leave Active X and Java activated?

It is possible to create settings for individual websites using the Exclusions tab of the Active Content plugin so you could create an entry for Windows Update without having to allow ActiveX globally. More details are given in the Outpost Help ("Personalizing Filtering settings for specific Web sites").

The rule that u were provided with for windows update is probably the right way to go, but I just use this option without any problems at all.

I see that I still have a lot to learn and it's probably not the last time that I will require help.

    But I enjoy this Firewall.
