I think it is using the Virusbuster antivirus engine and Agnitum's own antimalware engine.

I was about to test this suite. Is Virusbuster any good? Never heard of them!

Hmm, not a great deal wiser - any good? I've been offered a very cheap upgrade and wondering if I should get it?

In the latest Av-Test.org test, VirustBuster got:

    Malware Spyware

    89.0% 85.8%

I tried the firewall and it was very very noisy, but it was robust.

i didnt like virusbuster myself. but the only way to know is to try it out.. imo i didnt think it did a great job and failed to clean a few files i tested on a spare machine it kept saying it cleaned them but didnt and those were easily able to be cleaned by kaspersky and norton among others
