o System memory could be corrupted on content filtering under Windows Vista
o Possible crash on user answer to Rules Wizard prompt from already finished application
    * Folders could not be deleted because of SmartScan cache files presence

    Doesn't fix to crucial issues:

Outpost Window Displayed On Start Up

Can't download files in any web browser. Downloads don't start or are frozen.

I am seriously unhappy with Agnitum.

Ive given up with outpost now. Too many bugs, and a waste of money to be honest. Switched to comodo and im not going back.

To me, this is the first release which works correctly; I mean: usable.
Lite, no freeze; eMule works without problems with this version.

I must clarify an important detail: I have installed it as firewall and not as firewall/HIPS. Not tested yet.

    But I’m happy with it.
I can't say this with many other products (!!).

I'm still using agnitum firewall 4.1.1025 from last year. It works without issue, and really is the core of my operating system security along with my h.i.p.s.

I'm not interested in changing to outpost 2008, as it doesn't support the plugins i've found so useful - but I hear an upcoming version will again support plugins (or integrate them) in which case I may try the update. Best of luck:)

Latest version seems to be working fine on mine. One minor problem I had was Outlook hanging if there was no E-mail to download. I would close it manually. This seems to be fixed in latest addition.

Just want to clarify my comments:

The window on startup problem is now fixed - I guess a clean install of outpost fixed the problem since no mention of fix in changelog.

It was mentioned in Outpost Forums that some users are still experiencing download problems with this version. I however have not had any download problems with this version.

So it is actually stable... and running well...

When I posted my previous post I was using v 4.0 and just looked at changelog to see if problems I had were fixed ... whoops

It needs some work, but this is the best 6.0.x release I have tried. I have Web control disabled because I see it as a waste of resources. Anti-spyware is also disabled (by the install process upon detection of NOD32). It is otherwise very stable and affords me surfing speeds that are as fast as anything I've seen with other firewalls, including the formidable Jetico 2.
