    I havent used GAOTD yet, it seemed suspicious to me too after looking at the siteadvisor results and this thread at castlecops http://www.castlecops.com/postlite178780-giveawayoftheday.html

    I wouldn't recommend downloading everything from GAOTD and in my opinion you should scan everything you download from anywhere. If you do a search here at Wilder's, you will see that Prevx and DefenseWall have been offered there (at GAOTD) and I don't remember anyone getting malware.

    As far as the site, I go their everyday to see what is offered and I don't have malware. Of course I'm protected fairly well when I go surfing :D. That doesn't mean it won't happen because "safe" sites are compromised on a daily basis.

    LOL, type in download.com in Siteadvisor and have a look at what a green checkmark gets ya.

    I've been visiting the gaotd website everyday for quite a while now, no problems as far as i know. I test out pretty much all the software they give away and its all been ok so far.
