Outlook problem....

Hi

I'm having a problem with my Outlook.

Not sure if this is a Nod related or even the cause of the problem, but does any body recognise this.....

When I download my emails using Outlook, all the contents are gone.....

I am running Sygate, Spywareguard, Nod32, a² (all in taskbar)...

A week ago, Outlook was running fine, I got message at botton of all my emails saying scanned by Nod....

A few days ago, that message stopped coming up....

Yesterday, I started getting blank emails...

I get New email notice in the Inbox, theres no Sender, No heading, No content...

I have my emails redirected to several accounts, and thay are all OK...

The one to this PC, I'm getting nothing....

Can anyone shed any light/ suggestion

Try this. Go to Start--Run and type or paste the following:

regsvr32 inetcomm.dll

Then send yourself a test e-mail.

 

What does that line do?

I get a message saying

DllRegisterServer in inetcomm.dll failed
Return code was 8x800004005

The link doesn't apply to me.

I am running XP Pro, using Outlook 2003.

I don't get any error message when downloading emails.

I receive the emails, just empty. No subject heading, the sending heading is mssing, and the content's gone.

Like I said, It's strange. Not added any new software, not changed any configuration, the only thing that's changes are the regular upgates I get from Nod, and a².

I've done scans and nothing's showing up. Just wondered if anyone using Nod's experienced this problem before...

Just want to say the problem is solved. I found out what was messing up with my Outlook, and Thunderbird (2nd Box)

It was Webroot's Window Washer 5.0. It took me a few reinstall to narrow it down. The same thing was happening to my other PC that didn't have Outlook installed.

I'm using Thunderbird in the other PC, started getting emails with no heading and contact.....

If anyone's interested, I'm using XP Pro, with Outlook 2003, and with a², Nod32, Sygate Pro, SpySweeper, Spyguard and Seti all running at start up.

With Window Washer installed, emails starts to corrupt after the first wash.... untimately, to the point where all info with emails are lost.....

 

Interesting, OD. I use (and have used for a long time) Windows Washer without a problem. I occassionally get empty email messages (one every other day), but I assumed they were some type of spam or something with malicious intent.
