Everytime i open up Microsoft Outlook to check my emails process guard warns me that msn messenger is trying to open.
I have blocked it for now but is this normal?

I don't see why msn messenger would want to open when using outlook, doesnt make sense to me.

Hi timnicebutdim, You will find somewhere within Outlook the ability to disable MS messenger try this. Tools - options - mail set up - Other. Untick Enable the person smart tag.

Hi Pilli, thanks for the reply.. i wasnt really bothered about disabling it, i just wanted to make sure it was normal behaviour and not some type of sneaky trojan sending out my email info to someone using msn messenger.

But i guess its normal since there is an option to turn it off in outlook. Strange thing to have though, any idea why they have it?
