    Hi,

NOD32 can scan inside .pst files?

I have a friend that avast! detect the Win32Beagle-BQ in a .pst file, and I tried with NOD32 and nothing was found...

It's possible to remove virus from this file?

    Thanks

It's possible to have some support from ESET on this?

Kaspersky also detect "Email-Worm.Win32.Bagle.bn" in the file...

    Thanks

Hi there VaMPiRiC_CRoW!! Your .pst file is a back up of M$ Outlook saves e-mails ,addresses and Contacts!! What I would suggest is Delete if you can and just save another Back up of the .pst file a clean one!! If this cannot be done and he needs the infected .pst file to restore info in Outlook! Well he could try to import that file back into Outlook and remove the virus from there! Then he could save a clean Version of the Back Up .pst File!!

Here is some more info!! http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=8B081F3A-B7D0-4B16-B8AF-5A6322F4FD01&displaylang=en

    HTH,

    Cheers,

Yes, NOD32 can scan inside of them. You have to select them in the profile I think but yes, it does. I can see the folder in mine as it scans. Hope that helps.

    Regards,

Yes, it really seems that NOD32 doesn't support compresion method of PST files..So that NOD32 cannot scan inside these files. BUT when you extract files from file (via Outlook), NOD32 warns you about infiltration....
