    Hi there,

I'm fairly new with internet security and having to configure a firewall and I was just wondering about some configurations in Outpost 4 that seems contradictory.

In LAN settings it's written: All NetBIOS communications for this network are blocked.

Then, when I look in the open ports section I can see:

    NETBIOS_SESSION:TCP
    NETBIOS_NS:UDP
    NETBIOS_DGM:UDP

Should I be concerned about that or is it just normal?

    Forward thanks,

    Stride

No need to be concerned about this. What you are seeing is the NETbios services listening on ports,...If you have unchecked (unticked) the option in your LAN settings to allow NETbios, then NETbios communications will be blocked.
