    Hi All, I hope you are well.

    As a newbie I am looking for some help with using OTFbrutus to help re-discover the exact password stringset for a truecrypt(v7.0) file. I am basically struggling to write up the exact syntax to use in the the application.

    I have done the basic algebra and there should only be 72 permutations. ( I know the exact encryption options that were used.)

    Many thanks in advance for any help, and I hope the explanation of the known elements of the pasword string are clear below.

    ================Known Elements of the Password====================

    Basic structure of the password string:
    "kT"|1||2||3|"w"|4|"Re5tket3tgfe4w455"|5|

    Explanatory Key:

    "xxx" = exact character string set of "xxx"
    |n| = character option set |n|

    Character option set:
    |1| ="s","S","5"
    |2| ="j","J"
    |3| ="s","S","5"
    |4| ="DDD","DDDD"
    |5| ="567","765"

    ",' = explicit OR

    Example:
    Valid:
    kTsJSwDDDDRe5tket3tgfe4w455567, where

    |1| ="s"
    |2| ="J"
    |3| ="S"
    |4| ="DDDD"
    |5| ="567"

    ==================End, thanks==================
