    Well, I do get their point, but you really don't need one if you have enough expertise. I haven't used an AV in 7 years, I rely totally on VirusTotal combined with behavior blocking/sandboxing. The reason why I don't use one is because of the bloat, they are trying to do it all nowadays. Also, all this cloud stuff is bad for privacy. I do recommend AV's to novice users of course.

    I also get the point is. But the fact is that it is possible for experienced Windows users stay uninfected without using any security software.
