OSSEC HIDS

    Has anyone used OSSEC HIDS ? It is a host intrusion detection system, has a Windows Agent and a Linux log gatherer manager. It promises to provide correlation for log events, and seems to also provide a Tripwire like hids.

    I've heard of it, but never tried it. HIPS on Windows is hard enough. Something similar on Linux would be near impossible for me to understand.
