    Hi all,

I've just installed Acronis OSS 10 on my new PC and its running REALLY slow.. loading time for acronis isn't too bad - about 5 - 10 seconds.
But once OSS is loaded and I can see the selection menu or configuration window everything runs at snails pace... I click something and about 20 seconds later it responds :doubt:
Oddly if I bring up another window (such as to enter a new OS entry or the options menu) I am back to running at full speed...
Anyone know why it does this and how I can get around it ?

    Spec:
    Gigabyte GA33M-DSR2
    Seagate Baracuda 750GB SATAII
    OCZ DDR2 Dual Channel (4GB)
    Intel C2D E6750 2.66Ghz
    Nvidia GeForce 7300GT

    Many Thanks
    Neil

Are you running the OSS menu as full screen or as a Window? Does it make a difference?

Is only the mouse slow or does the keyboard respond slowly too?

You might also try the "Do not load CD-ROM drivers" option.

Strangely I upped the screen resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768 and it solved the problem of OSS running really slowly o_O
Its a really nice looking boot manager and seems to work ok!
Just trying to see if there is any way to load custom images for the OS's but it doesn't look like there is a way :'(

That good to hear, though odd that the resolution would do that.

Custom images and icons have been asked for, but Acronis hasn't implemented them.
