Opera and Turbo

    I've just started experimenting with Turbo in Opera on dial-up. It's on but I haven't noticed any difference in image resolution and no difference in speed. It's set to "On" not "Automatic." Is there a way to tell it to always compress? It acts like it's not detecting the connection as "slow."

    I'm using Opera 12.17 portable. I was wondering if there might an advanced setting, or possibly more settings in a newer version. Thanks. :)

    Ctrl+F12 - Webpages - Opera Turbo - On (or Off, or Automatic).
