Installed and running. Definitely faster than 9.27... Alt+Shift+Ctrl+H not buggy anymore for me :D

Can anyone tell me how to set Opera to always be masked or identified as IE or Firefox for all websites visited?

I have reinstalled Opera 9.27 and it works perfectly on my LUA for whatever reason but not 9.50.

Got it here also, just upgraded from the last few beta's. 9.5 is without a doubt the speed king. Firefox 3 is very quick also, but I have to give Opera the slight edge, it's very well done and certainly much faster than previous versions. Also like the new look. No issues here at all.

Just updated to 9.5 and wow it is very fast.I love the new skin. But it uses more memory than 9.27.
I have a question:Haute secure is used with Opera. So when you search something on Google do you get site ratings such as good or bad?

Nope. Searching for something on Google doesn't display the results as good/bad.

Does any search result rating tool work with Opera? Seems there would be a way to get haute secure to work.

Also, what is a good Vista skin for Opera?

Are there any other add ons for Opera?

Yes they look nice. I was wanting a Vista-like skin so the favorites open along the left side as opposed to more toward the middle.

In the screen shot are the skins I use in vista,(bottom img) they all open the favorites/bookmarks on the left. they can all be found at the link I posted. There are a lot to look through but they are there somewhere.:D

Hmm, guess I will stay with default.
( the only extra thing is the green border, which is not default Opera)

Not that I know of but you can try searching thru Scandoo (it uses google's engine)
    http://www.scandoo.com/

    @ghodgson
Type opera:config in the address bar and you´ll see

Oh well ... installation of 9.50 did not go smoothly but I managed to solve the problem by copying & pasting the Opera folder from Admin(programme folder) to LUA (programme folder) and guess what it works! Surprisingly the setting for Admin & LUA remain as they are! i.e. the bookmarks for both are slightly different but somehow it remembers that both are slightly different!

Well, it is not the proper way to solve a problem but hell it works ... now I have two copies of Opera on my system ... hmmm ... one on Admin and the other LUA.

P/s: I did a complete installation again before my solution above by cleaning everything out but I guess the profiles for both were not deleted and that's one reason both still retain it's setting.

Opera is faster but the killer feature of FF is extensions. It doesn't matter how good Opera/IE8 are, without all the wonderful extensions they will always be a step behind. Of course this doesn't matter for a lot of people who just use the basic browser functionality.

I have only a small problem. In the previous version when i write any search trem in search box and then hit Enter, the search will start but now pressing Enter does not do anything. I have Scandoo as my default search.

Other searches work OK. Scandoo wil not work.

I found out the way. Mark the items in Images( C:\Documents and Settings\Shahbaz\Local Settings\Application Data\Opera\Opera\profile\images) folder as read only.

Same here, I always like to keep the extensions to a minimum in FF, I only use mouse gestures, which Opera already has, and NoScript. The main selling point for me is just speed, which Opera seems to excel at..
