There is an extension for Firefox called Bookmark checker. Unfortunately I'm not aware one exists also for Chromium based browsers.

    I will check that.
    Thanks.

An essential browser function, in my opinion.

    Hello,

You may be talking about AM-DeadLink available here: http://www.aignes.com/deadlink.htm ...
It should work for the new Opera if you just select Google Chrome and then drill down to your bookmarks file...

    Thanks mate.

    It was called FavOrg.

I don't know if it is relevant today, though, but it worked well back in the day.

    hi
but it's normal that opera load even the disabled extensions?

and yes it's really a shame that the opera team did not add some bookmarks features
in short they update only the chrome engine :(

Yes, disabled doesn't mean uninstalled. It's same with plugins.

I don't think. They do a lot of work behind the scene, look at whatever Opera Chromium changelog.

Auto update doesn't work yet. Wait a while or download Opera Stable offline package for windows or Opera Stable for Windows online installation.

EDIT: Auto update does work already. Just restart Opera and it will bring the updated version.

For those waiting, look what appeared as an Experiment Flag in the newest developer build. Guess the Bookmark Manager will be the main feature in perhaps Opera 25.

    I'm lovin' this new Opera.
    Get into it guys.

And be sure to not forget about: opera://flags/

Edit: I think we need a plain old Opera thread without version numbers attached to it.
It is a bit confusing about which thread to post in.

    hi
is there a way to customize the new thumbs in the speed dial?

they are small and they have an icon , in the old speed dial they are bigger and with a website screenshot

No, you can't. It's by design actually. It's part of their 'vision'.

You can always go back to the old speed dial page though.

There is a option in the browser settings that says show big speed dial thumbnails but you have to check the show advanced options box for it to show as shown in attached image.

I agree, perhaps a mods can rename one of the threads, so there'll be something equivalent to the Chrome Stable releases thread.
