Seems like its on its way to become a good contender for office suites, paid or free. I have been a very satisfied OO user since version 1x and looking forward to the x64 3x version in the near future.

I'll give the new version a go when it comes out. If this won't load after installing I'm looking for a new open source office. 2.4 would get to almost 1/4 of the bar and stop there.
