Are there any open source HIPS projects out there?

I did a search on SourceForge but couldn't find anything.

    Thanks!

    Winpooch and Coreforce

Haven't really used either one of them, but I know they are open source.

    Cheers,

I don't know if this one would be considered open source per se, but it is free as well as a very good HIPS program that is being constantly developed - Neoava Guard. You can get it at www.neoava.com

There are some threads in Wilders concerning the software if you wanted to do a search for more info on the app.

    Hi all,

    Free but not open source

I'm not sure that Coreforce is open source. Based on OpenBSD's firewall which is open source

Core Force technically is not open source. It uses an Apache 2.0 license that states that it can be freely reverse engineered, disassembled or decompiled, but the actual source code is not available.
