Okay so this is an interesting one. Browsers are updated, plugins are updated, everything maintained and cleaned with Privazer, no viruses or spam, internet speedtest normal, all good on all fronts; except one of course. Online videos, whether youtube or umm, non youtube videos, they’re all crawling for no reason, seemingly anyway. Firefox, Opera, same thing, and like I said above, everything is updated and cleared. Funniest thing is, this is intermittent, as in it doesn’t happen all the time and the videos will play at normal speed. But then it goes back to barely moving. So any thoughts would be super at this point, as clearly I’m stumped!
1. Check Firefox for bad plugins/addons 2. Check your graphics card drivers for updates 3. If you try to play an ''offline video'' using MPC-HC or any other media player do you have the same issue? 4. Try to disable temporary your antivirus/security software you may have.
Hey, thanks for the suggestions but of course, still having issues... Now the interesting thing is, it's not just online videos or the browser, but mp3's and avi's as well, both with WMP and VLC... Also, still intermittent.
Have you had a look at the CPU use in Task Manager, to see if there any process using excessive CPU? Also, if you are using a laptop, can you check the power options to make sure it's not using power saving?
Hi, sorry for the delay, but just did a good old fashioned format and for now it's all good! Thanks guys:}
