I downloaded Kaspersky online scanner using the latest version of IE during the last month and now I need to use it once again but I can't find it.

The files and all are on my computer; I located them using Windows Explorer but I couldn't activate the scanner itself.

I suppose the GUI is tucked away somewhere in IE. I've searched high up and low down and I can't find it.

Could anyone point me in the right direction, please?

    Riverrun,

What you downloaded is the activex control for the online scanner. This means the next time you go to the site to scan your computer, you won't have to download the control file again.

The control allows your browser to interact with the scanning program and the operating system.

The file that you downloaded should be in the Windows folder under downloaded program files. To use that file, you will have to go back to site and scan your computer.
