online scan not working

Apologies if this isn't the correct place/forum for this particular issue.

I was referred to the Ewido site from someone on another forum.
I'm trying to run the free online scan on my pc, but it won't load.

I'm running W2k (SP4 + all current updates installed) w/ IE 6 (SP1).
I'm running NAV 2004. I've got plenty of RAM and space on my HD.
I'm also running Spyware doctor 4.0

The first time I tried, I got the dialog box popup and clicked on "yes".
It then went to the status bar/page, saying it was downloading and
it may be a few minutes. It never completed.

I closed everything out, deleted all temp files/cookies and rebooted. Upon
reboot, I verified that all popup blockers were off, and shut down Spyware doctor (I left NAV running). Still nothing, and this time I didn't even get the
dialog popup box.

At this point, I click on "scan now" and I'm in limbo at the page where it alerts me to the possible popup dialog box. Nothing else happens.

Any suggestions?
