No, I didn't. However, I just booted up and OA didn't go into learning mode. Maybe OA can read my posts. LOL

Some of you may interested in this.

If I have all countries denied (and I do) with no exceptions, I still have unlimited surfing power. My theory to be confirmed is this is because all ip's are allowed and that allowance trumps the countries list.

1 - OA Free and paid
    2,3,4 - only paid version

OA Free lacks of Keylogger protection, which includes all this screen, web, clipboard stuff, like from the Zemana tests.

    Cheers

Hi, I have a question abt OA (paid):
I don´t care for a chatty classical HIPS but I do care about keylogger protection (I have XP + LUA/SURUN).
If I turn OA Program Guard off, does keylogger protection stay effective?
    Thanks

Nope. There is a lot of different keylogger types, and most of them are detected and blocked by HIPS functions. If you need total keylogger protection you'd better try different approach, for example virtual keyboard or keyscrambler. Though, if keyscrambler is not protected by HIPS it can be deactivated or bypassed in the same way it works. So it seems there is no go without HIPS or virtual keyboard to be really safe.

    Thanks for the reply.

I am sure I don´t want classical chatty HIPS (& do not like Threatfire either).

I will rely on LUA(xp)+SuRun+Avira+MBAM+Sandboxie for protection.

FW-wise I have been a Sygate user and am considering replacing it with PCTools FW. Since you seem to be quite knowledgeable, what do you think of PCTools FW enhanced security (ESV) against keyloggers? (it does get a good Matousec rating, whatever that means) (new version coming out anyday according to PCtools forums)

Thanks and excuse me for getting away from the original topic ;-)

Here, and with the Beta before,(at least in the free version),is the definitive
cure for the slow reboot that plagued me with Online Armor.
    Reboots are lightening fast.
Under 60 seconds, and for me that is fast.

We're basically just doing last minute bugfixes before release. Each build will contain just bugfixes, and optimizations.

    I hope 27 is the one :)

    Some questions regarding OA:

How stable is this beta, as Im thinking of taking it for a spin?

When will the final version be released? I dont mind a ball park figure.

If I have tried OA paid before can I try the new release as well?

Build 26 was pretty darn nice, but I've just pulled 27 because something went wrong there and we need to find it.

Was hoping for final on Monday - depends what our issue was with 27. You may be able to try, yes.

    Hi Mike,

So to be clear, having trialed the previous version of OA, I will be able to trial this newer version when its released right?

    Quick question:
    1) Is the public beta still open to participants to join?
    2) what is the advantage of joining as a beta tester [at this stage] - by this I mean if it is still going on and will end soon what then happens to the licence/product being used?

You would need a valid OA license. No beta licenses are being given for the public beta
