    Hi,

I have Office OneNote. Do I need this OneNote app? What are the differences between the Office OneNote and app one?

I have never used AppOne before, so I really can't give you any advice as far as that goes.

But, if you have a use for OneNote, then I say....Stick with what you know (Keep it). If you don't use it, then I say remove that component from your hard drive (To save some space).

Same here, I've always hated that app and found the simple Notepad much better for my needs.

I think you have misunderstood me my friend. I am using the Office OneNote that came as a part of the 2007 Office suite. Now I found out about the OneNote app in the link in my first post. I was wondering what is the difference between the two and if there would be anything beneficial in using the latter.

Not useless, just depends if you want/need the features onenote offers.

The link is to the mobile apps as well as the desktop apps. Mobile apps are nice and sync through skydrive and work together well. I've tried them, but have no need for onenote.

I use Office OneNote every day. Keep a lot of information in it. It is flexible and easy to update.

The "other" OneNote seems to be a similar application that can be used on mobiles (Android, etc.).

The other OneNote being called in that website OneNote app also has a desktop app. I was just wondering if the this app was the same as the Office OneNote one. :)
