    Hi,

Why is there only Mozilla Firefox-Cached Files in System Cleaner, whereas there are 9 items for Internet Explorer?

From Ccleaner to KingSoft PC Doctor, almost every cleaner has many if not the same items of Firefox as Internet Explorer for cleaning.

    Best Regards,

IE stores data in multiple different locations which are sometimes used by other applications as well. Firefox stores its data much more clearly and it can be cleaned in a more straightforward manner, so we only have a single entry.

there is only entry for cached files of Firefox but cookies, url history, address bar history, etc for internet explorer......wsa will clean cached files of firefox which is similar to internet explorer's temporary internet files......but wsa will not clean ff cookies but will clean ie's cookies .....same with the url history, etc.........
Ccleaner has cookie entries for both ie and ff for example.....so does kingsoft pc doctor.......

Firefox offers its own methods to clean its cookies/history/etc. which work very well. Any external application which tries to manipulate its databases runs the risk of potentially corrupting your installation, which is why WSA doesn't attempt to remove these files. Firefox stores everything within SQL databases and has its own logic to manage them, unlike IE which stores cookies on disk directly and history separately.
