Okay I know the easiest way would be to simply disable the fdd from bios [I have disable bootup floopy seek], but I do occasionally use it!

The check of the fdd on log-on from the Welcome screen in XP Pro SP2 with Nod32 v2.7 is a little annoying. I have already disabled the scan on shutdown but wonder if there is a way to stop this auto search on log-on [but still retain auto-search when floppy is entered into drive or access]??
    Thanks

The problem is that it gives 2 options "shut down"] [self explanatory and disabled] and "access" and I don't know if disabling access also disables autochecking when a floppy is inserted into the drive.
