Old HD ---> new HD

    No I did boot from the new drive the old one UNplugged.

    I created the image a few weeks ago. As I always try to be sure everything is properly working And I did restore it following the steps you advised me. So the image was not 100% the same as the installed software and docs etc on the old one. I was thinking I could copy them later. (I mean things as .doc files or my favourites etc. etc)
