In the past week I have had 2 BSOD. Although I believe it is my RAM, since Windows Memory Diagnostic found a hardware problem, I am going and removing hidden drivers that are no longer used. Some included COMODO firewall and Online Armor's firewall drivers. I already removed them, but I wanted to know if that is okay and if I should have done that?

Since they are no longer used, it should be okay. Actually, it's better to remove remnants of previous security programs when installing new ones.

Ok that's good. I don't know why they are left behind anyway.

Not only OK, it is pretty much required to prevent issues such as you mentioned (or, inexplicable complete loss of internet connectivity after you install something else.)

Also, as everyone already knows: http://uninstallers.blogspot.com/ - sadly, COMODO still fails to provide one to clean up the junk they leave behind. :thumbd:
