Hi all, I just tested my recovery disc, which I built using the "typical" option in paragon HD manager 8, it boots fine, and recognizes my external HD, my wireless keyboard, but not my wireless mouse. :(

The message it gave was "unable to install ps2 mouse".
Is there a way around this?

I found the drivers which the mouse uses, would creating an advanced recovery disc, and placing the mouse drivers in it solve this problem do you think?

Or do I have to go out and find a wired mouse?

I'd be very interested in hearing others experiences, and possible workarounds.
    Thanks, argus

My wireless Logitech mouse won't work with ATI's Boot CD either, have to use my old wired MS mouse.

I use a wired Benq mouse without a rolling ball, it works with a red light.
This mouse has probably a more technical name, but I don't remember it. :D
I tested most popular Image Backup softwares and never had any problems.

Using the recovery disk I couldn't get Paragon to work with a Microsoft intelli mouse explorer wireless. But then you can't expect programs to work with hardware from such an obscure company as MS

The way round the problem is to try other imaging programs until you find one that works

the paragon winpe cd sees my microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse.
the OP should contact paragon and tell them the situation.
im sure they can help create a cd that works with your mouse

On the page I d/l'd it from, they said they were unable to provide any support :(

I'm gonna try the "advanced " recovery disc option, and manually include the mouse drivers, see what happens.

    Thanks for your replies
