I am looking in my ESET directory in "Program Files" and notice
    that
    1/ nod32.001 is missing (?)
I don't know what these files are, anyway, or even whether they can be deleted.

    2/ nod32.000 is 11 M, as opposed to the .002, .003,etc files
which range from 791 bytes to 432K. So, is this huge increase
    in size expected ?

    Thanks!

    Judy

PS -- with the last Windows update, I did have some issues with AMON not running...I'm assuming that all is okay now, but I'm not sure how to check to make sure. Double thanks!

Hi, the size of the udpate files vary, it's not anything to be concerned about.

You mention AMON, are you running version 2.7? This thread probably belongs in that forum, but one way to see if AMON is functioning properly is through the test files at eicar.com.
