DocScrubber 1.1 is great - far better than the "remove hidden data" plugin supplied as an addon to Office 2003 which, just for good measure, doesn't uninstall fully - but I note one bug: scrubbed dates give strange results when the scrubbed Word 2003 document is loaded into OpenOffice.org 1.1.

The attached dump says it all (both created and modified dates are 60/21/55177).

    The big questions are:

    i. which application(s) are at fault - DS or OOo?

ii. what a "normal scrubbed date" would be :p

    1. I would suspect this may be OpenOffice's fault - especially if the dates show normally when loaded into a version of Microsoft Word. (If both Word and OpenOffice show those strange dates then this is something new.)

    2. I believe OpenOffice is at fault - perhaps it isn't used to seeing files with blank properties. (That property should be completely blank.)

I'll have to do some testing - I'll post again if I have an answer.

    Best regards,
