ntuser.dat_BAK....Delete or Keep?

    I just noticed a bunch of ntuser.dat_BAK files in the Documents and Settings > Owner folder (see image below).

    Each file is around 11 MB in size. Is it necessary to have that many BACKUPS and are these SAFE to DELETE?

    Hello,
    On several machines, I got a single file, no backups, size ~ 3.5MB, for any of the users. So I can't really tell you. BTW, Owner = relevant user?

    Yes. I went ahead and deleted all but the most recent backup (by date). I couldn't really find anything on google. Thanks.
