    I detected this message "NTP clock variables information disclosure (ntp-clock-variables-disclosure)" when using the Symantec Vulnerabilty Manager scanner in the Unix Servers environment but it turned out that everything is alright. The date and time are in sync.

    What could be the issue? has anyone ever encountered this before?

    It is just an information disclosure, not an issue.
