Autodesk Revit has issues saving to an HFS+ share on a Mac Server, so I have been running a Windows VM on the server to provide shares for the Windows client I am running in a VM on my MBP. I would like to skip this, to make it easier to manage folders on the share with Hazel and backup with CrashPlan. My question is, if I have NTFS for Mac installed on the server, do I also need it installed on a client, or is the file system immaterial to the share, as long as the server sharing it can access it properly?

    Thanks for any insight.
