    Hey dog,
If you dare (concerning security issues...) you can do a search on any of the p2p music sites; I just picked my copy of the net; If you like I can try to attach it to an email and send it to you (after making sure it's clean obviously).
If interested you can 'PM' me. :)

    grtz,

Now that we already by far seem to have crossed the line of any objectivity together :D, I feel free to make a couple of remarks concerning proud soccer anthems myself:

Agree with Gerards' remark about "Hup Holland Hup": though it stills stays a classic, the song is getting a little 'prehistoric'.

However let's not forget the song that is generally adopted & regarded as the real Dutch soccer anthem, always sung by the entire crowd on the stands (goosebumps!).
    I'm referring ofcourse to
"Nederland oh Nederland (Wij Houden van Oranje)" by the one and only Dutch folksinger/tearjerker André Hazes!

This song was originally written in 1988, before Hollands' biggest triumph: becoming European Champs in Germany!
That success obviously contributed to the massive popularity of this song, and I guess its lyrics are as well, or even better known to the Dutch people as is the real national anthem (Wilhelmus).

Lyrics "Nederland, oh Nederland (Wij houden van Oranje)" - André hazes

    Samen zijn we sterk
    Eendracht maakt machtig
Hoe een klein land GROOT kan zijn
    Is dat niet prachtig

    (chorus: )
    Nederland oh Nederland
    Jij bent een kampioen
    Wij houden van Oranje
Om zijn daden en zijn doen

    Straks als het Rood-Wit-Blauw
    Voor ons wordt gehesen
Dan zijn wij een groot gezin
    Met GOUD zijn wij geprezen

    -chorus-

    Van de tribune
    Klinkt het Wilhelmus
    Nu nog mooier dan voorheen
    Ach, wie laat geen tranen

    -chorus-

    Wij houden van Oranje
    't is de ware kampioen

    "Translated" in English:

    Together we are strong
    Unity makes mighty / powerful
How a small country can become GIANT
    Isn't that wonderful

    (chorus: )
    Netherlands oh Netherlands
    You are a champion
    We love Orange
For its deeds and its doings
    ( ? ? Even in Dutch this is a little awkward phrase:D-slammer)

    Shortly, as the Red-White-and-Blue
Is being hoist up for us
Then we are all one big family
    With GOLD we are praised

    -chorus-

    From of the stands
    The "Wilhelmus" is sounding
Now, even more beautiful than before
Ach, who does not shed a tear

    -chorus- (2x)

    We do love Oranje
    It's the true Champion!

Sorry... I 'lost' you there, Gerard....o_O........:D

(I tend to go for the KIS(S)-approach: Keep It Simple (,Stupid!;))

That is why I am such a Johan Cruijff-adept!
("Je mot schieten om te scoren"; "winnaar is diegene die 1 doelpunt meer maakt dan de ander"; elluk nadeel hep zun voordeel" etc. etc.)

    groetjes,

    Serves them just right!
Congrats (and thanks ) to the Red Devils (Belgium) for this win.
Let's hope this will be a warning... a bad rehearsel usually is a good thing and most often followed by ......;)

    grtz,
    slammer

edit: Actually, this was the first loss for the Dutch team in almost 2 years (a lot of draws were 'achieved'...) which is perfect: Now the team-manager Dick Advokaat has to look forward, and can't brag about the past anymore! :p
