Across the road at ACF came the following, Kerio 2.1.5 gone nuts. Using Kerio 2.1.5 suddenly getting swamped with UsrRsltMd5AddApp: You have too many application already registered Can someone explain how to stop this? I have googled and can not find an understandable answer. All I got was this: "Too many files listed in the MD5 program listing within Admin. Delete duplicates and old programs, save, and restart." I still do not know what the hell they want. The Fix Reply, I recommend that you do all this while offline. 1. Double click on the tray icon to open the Kerio window. 2. Click on "File", then "Admin". 3. On the "Firewall" tab, click on the "Advanced" button. 4. Click on the "Application's MD5" tab. 5. Clean up the list like they say. 6. "OK" button out and restart the firewall. I then checked my own Kerio and found a mounting list of long since *uninstalled* App. MD5's that I had not thought to Delete off the list.
Unlike newer firewalls Kerio does require some maintenance. You might find a similar problem in your ruleset, rules for apps that no longer exist. It's part of the price for the low resource demand and small size of Kerio, a little regular maintenance.
