Ok. I downloaded Sound Blaster Audigy LS\Live 24-Bit Driver. When I double clicked the run, it did it's extracting, and then right as the install shield came up, i got an error prompt saying
    >setupDLL.cpp (219:cool:
pAPP:Sound Blaster Audiy LS/Live! 240Bit Driver Web Update
    PVENDOR: Creative Techknology Ltd.
    PGUID: CD4C88AB-29E8-4F95-B685-B9F53A889F15
    $9.1.0.429
    @Windows XP Service Pack 2 (2600) BT_OTHER 0.64

This is followed by an "OK" button. I clicked ok.

    InstallShield Wizard

    Setup has experienced an error.

    Please do the following:

    -Close any running programs
    -Empty your temporary folder
-Check your internet connection (internet-based setups)

Then try to run the setup again.

    Error codeL -5002

    "OK"

Also, i haven't activated my windows yet because it says that i have used the CD key too many times, which i guess i can understand because i have used it on several other computers in my house, and then i had to redo this one, and the others before.

    Any thoughts?

sure look at the steps i posted for each way again..

you said "Setup has experienced an error."

right..so it failed..then next you do this..

Go into Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Sound Video and Game Controllers > Properties tab for my sound card > Driver > Update Driver ...

Then 'Install from a specific location' > 'Don't Search "I will choose the driver to install' > 'Have Disk'

Intead point windows to driver file that the failed install unzipped itself to, this is C:\WINDOWS\Temp\CRF000\Drivers\WDM\wdma_emu.inf
    and use it..

The drivers will then hopefully install properly.

do not let windows teel you that the dirvers it is already using are ok..

In fact you could even uninstall the current drivers it is using..if any have installed..and then do those step over again in the first post.

    ************************************************

or do it the other way..winrar is free..you can google and find it.
