Not Possible to overcome Firewall Problems?

Hi,

I have the latest Firewall that could be downloaded (1049).

The Firewall prevents reliable Internet access with access blocked every few minutes.

I tried a long list of actions. These included resetting EST firewall to default settings. The problem applied with Version 3 of ESET and Version 4.

I can only assume the registry is screwed up in some way.

Does the problem perist after enabling test mode in the update setup (v4) ?

 

Hi,

I am running Smart Security V4.

Following the question from Marcus, I've re-enabled the Firewall and selected test mode.

Immediately my Internet connection failed so I disabled ESET firewall and now I'm back in business.

I hope you can find a solution - I used to regard ESET as absolutely the nest security package.
