NoScript Protects from Advertisements that may infect

    No script has saved me on many occasion when I could have become infected by my risky pron advertisement hopping, until you get to a codec that needs to be downloaded. Which NoScript can't save you from.

    If you are asked to download a codec or any file don't do it.

    NoScript is an excellent malvertising plug-in for Firefox users, while a HOSTS File is excellent for IE users.

    Thanks for the tip; I've stored my PC in the fridge right next to the alkaline-reacting diet to make sure that it will never happen.
