My daughter is away at college and has access to downloading Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 9.0.2 for her laptop.

Yet, when I goto the Symantec Download Virus Definitions, it has "Norton AntiVirus Corp. Edition" listed.

But, I can't find a NORTON AntiVirus Corporate Edition, only a SYMANTEC AntiVirus Corporate Edition on the Symantec site.

Also, this site www.virus.gr has 13. Norton Corporate version 9.0.0.338 - 90.29% 8. Norton version 2004 Professional listed.

My question is, is this/those program good, mostly resident scanning and low resource useage?

    Confused Mike

    EDIT: fixed typo

Symantec and norton are for all intents and purposes the same thing. The defs for one should work in the other.

Ahhh... do you have a link to NORTON AntiVirus Corporate Edition?

What I'm trying to find out, is this/these actually ONE product, but people use Symantec/Norton interchangeable?

Take a look at this link here they are the same thing. Just personal choice what you want to call it. Symantec used to call it one thing and now they call it the other
you might also look here norton antivirus is included in the enterprise edition

Duuhhh... try the Symantec query! I must have been dropped on my bald head as a baby!

The Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition is the OLD product that stopped at version 7.6.1.

The Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition has version 8.x and 9.x.

So, the www.virus.gr site lists the OLD Norton AntiVirus Corporate Edition.

    THANKS,
    Mike

I believe the one listed there ("Norton version 2004 Professional") is the non-corporate edition

    Ahhhh... http://www.virus.gr/english/fullxml/default.asp?id=67&mnu=67
And yes, in my first post I copied/pasted the wrong info.

And, I'm thinking it is REALLY Symantec Corporate since it is version 9.x, and the last NORTON Corporate was version 7.6.1.

    Thanks,
    Mike
